Some users have been complaining about getting the "Enable Cookie" message when trying to login. That message is a default when you enter the wrong username and/or password. Please confirm your information is correct and try again.

If the problem continues, you can either reset your password, or recreate another account. Alternatively, you can send me an email at shane@thecgn.com and I will do what I can to resolve the issue.

Also, please note that we were hacked and had to restore back to October, so any account created after October 2007 is missing and will need to be re-added.

 Lesbians wed in prison
  - Monday, January 08, 2007 - 07:08 PM by Lana
         ( )
Two inmates at the Edmonton Institution for Women tied the knot yesterday. Inside prison walls a small quiet ceremony was performed by a minister. This ceremony is the second of its kind in Canada. Two men were married in Ontario's Bath Institution in November 2006.

The wedding was performed by a minister and the women were allowed to be un-handcuffed and wear their street clothes. Unfortunately for the happy couple, they were not allowed to consumate the union. Prison policy prevents the inmates from spending the night in the same cell.

One of the inmates is serving a two year, nine month and 30 day sentence for assualt with a weapon, break and enter and aggravated assault. She will be released on November 18.

The other is in for the long haul. Six years for maunslaughter.

The union brings paranoia to the guards. They believe there should not be special priveledges for the two women.
